Established in
1993, Clubman Motorycles roots date back 4 1/2 decades when the proprietor,
Graham Ferguson, bought his first bike at age 14. Learning from his grandfather,
Graham quickly developed his passion for motorcycles and a
keen interest in getting the most out of them.
Who could have
guessed that what first started as a bit of tinkering in the backyard would
lead to a career in servicing and repairing bikes many years later?
Starting as
a cheeky 14 year old riding dirt bikes in the scrub, Graham now owns his
own workshop in Tempe in Sydney's Inner West where you can find him still
tinkering away.
Loving the
challenges that his customers have been giving him for the past 12 years,
you can always catch him in the workshop with a spanner in his hand, peering
out over the top of his reading glasses.
Not only is
Graham good at fixing bikes, he's good at going fast too. As testified
by the case of trophies etched with his name, Graham has proven himself
in a variety of road races at Eastern Creek, Wakefield and Oran Park. His
success includes both the sprint format such as hosted by Formula
Extreme as well as endurance races like the famous '6 hour'.
Located near
Tempe train station and with plenty of parking out front, the workshop
is very accessible. And the personal service deserves platinum medals.
There's always a smile and frank advice for you and your bike.
Being able
to speak directly with the mechanic who is working on your bike is a huge
bonus. The mechanics will help you work out what you really want rather
than try and sell you stuff you don't need just to make a quick
buck.
